Responsibilities
Role Understanding: Deeply understand the character, script, and theatrical context of the production you are assigned to.
Character & Script Research: Conduct research on character background, script themes, and social context to deliver a compelling and impactful performance.
Performance & Rehearsal: Participate actively in rehearsals, deliver consistent and high-quality performances, and follow the director’s guidance with professionalism.
Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with the director, production crew, and fellow cast members to ensure smooth production and strong team dynamics.
Requirements
- A portfolio or performance reel that demonstrates strong character interpretation and stage presence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in theatre acting or stage performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Awareness of current trends in performing arts both locally and internationally.
- Ability to deliver lines, emotions, and physical movement authentically and convincingly.
- Capable of managing rehearsal and performance schedules independently and professionally.
- Experience in major theatre productions or arts festivals is an advantage.
- A Degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
